That Sports Ireland Campus is open to everyone. High performance programs at Sport Ireland Campus include IRFU, Swim Ireland, FAI, Hockey Ireland, Badminton Ireland, Gymnastics Ireland.

International teams such as the All Blacks also use the facilities for their training camps. However, apart from the elite athletes, the Sport Ireland campus caters to the needs of the local community with participation programs and is also open to visitors from across the country for events or facility rentals.

Ideal for team or individual training, the Sport Ireland campus has world-class indoor and outdoor facilities that host local, national and international events. Many of our current and future Olympians including xx and xx (Ambassador TBC) Train on campus to prepare for global competition.

The Sport Ireland campus also offers valuable facilities for the local community with rental facilities, children’s camps, academies, parties, team building events and corporate conferences and exhibitions. In addition, there are inclusive programs for athletes with disabilities and people recovering from chronic diseases.

The Here We Go campaign is designed to promote these world-class institutions by connecting with the public and encouraging them to learn more and get involved.

Sport Ireland National Indoor Arena hosts a range of different sports including athletics, field sports (rugby, soccer, GAA), gymnastics, basketball, badminton, martial arts and more. This fully accessible, multi-sport and multi-purpose arena was built to the highest world-class standards. It ensures that Ireland has the best indoor sports and events facilities available for use by sports federations, elite athletes, clubs and the general public.

The heart of the building is a 200-meter-long indoor running track, which is used for athletics training, competitions and a variety of other sports.

There are impressive indoor artificial grass pitches, including a full size football pitch used by all field sports and a half size rugby pitch.

Sport Ireland National Gymnastics Training Center is a bespoke facility with all the equipment needed for elite performers, academies, camps, school and corporate team building events.

The Sport Ireland National Aquatic Center attracts over a million visitors annually and hosts national and international events. High-performance athletes train here, as do mass sports and adult swimming academies, diving academies, school programs, member or family recreational swimming. The NAC is also home to the renowned family-friendly AquaZone water park and a top-notch gym, Sport Ireland Campus Fitness, which welcomes all fitness levels.

The campus is also home to the IRFU High Performance Centre, the GAA National Games Development Center and the FAI National Training Centre. The multi-sport synthetic pitches are suitable for training national hockey teams and also offer all-weather pitches for local soccer and Gaelic teams with a total of 10 pitches and a pavilion with meeting rooms.

Over 25 national governing bodies have offices on the Sport Ireland campus at Irish Sport HQ and in individual offices. This facilitates cooperation and cooperation between the various sports laws in Ireland.

The Olympic standard National Horse Sport Arena is located in the ancient walled garden of Abbotstown House for horse training and events. The arena is designed for show jumping, dressage, carriage driving, pony and eventing.

The Sport Ireland National Cross-Country Track was the venue for the 2021 European Cross-Country Championships and is a permanent track used for training and competition, as well as a weekly park run.

The National Modern Pentathlon Center, with a fencing arena and laser shooting range, complements the on-campus facilities for running, swimming and horseback riding, offering all five modern pentathlon sports in one location.

The National Diving Training Center allows Ireland’s top divers as well as dive academies, gymnasts and our Kids Camp participants to practice and perfect their technique outside of the pool using highly specialized trampoline and tumbling areas.

The list of facilities is endless. Other highlights include a campus conference centre, Cricket Ireland High Performance Training Centre, Cyclocross Skills Zone and walking trails. Outside of these facilities, all can enjoy over 500 acres of hiking and running trails, forest trails, a 1.5 mile loop of outdoor fitness and exercise equipment, and open spaces.
