Ford Official Badminton Vehicle Supplier
Ford is the Official Vehicle Supplier to the 2022 Badminton Horse Trials presented by Mars Equestrian (May 4-8).
Ford will provide vehicles to enable officers to carry out their duties at the park and will use the event to showcase its electrified vehicles.
“Badminton is an ideal fit for Ford, particularly with the focus on sustainability, and we’re really excited to be a part of the event,” said Ford’s Howard Kee.
“We know people still have many questions, not to mention fears, about the electrification transition, and we look forward to answering questions and hopefully dispelling any myths.”
Event Director Jane Tuckwell said: “I am certainly looking forward to getting behind the wheel of a Ford vehicle and I know other officials will enjoy the experience immensely. We are very much looking forward to welcoming Ford to Badminton.”
Lister’s support for the Royal Three Counties Show
Leading clipper and clipper manufacturer Lister is sponsoring the Ask the Groom feature at the 2022 Royal Three Counties Show in Malvern (17th-19th June).
“Ask the Groom” includes guest lectures from a range of equine industries, sessions on practical horsemanship, mounted police and live clipping demonstrations.
“Being so close to Lister’s Gloucester factory, the Royal Three Counties Show is an event close to our hearts,” said Hefin Rowlands, UK Sales Area Manager, adding that the company is also looking forward to hosting the Support shear event alongside Ask the Groom.

“As for shearing, as it has supported the event since it started, it’s great to see them return in such an important year leading up to the World Cup. The event will surely bring thrills and excitement to the show,” he said.
Chatsworth signs new main sponsor
Wellness brand Walker & Morland joins the Chatsworth International Horse Trials this year (May 13-15) as a new main sponsor.
The terms of the agreement mean that the brand is a main sponsor of the 2022 event, with the intention of building a longer-term relationship. This year’s event also serves as a campaign launch for Walker & Morland’s UK and global launch.

New award for best horse shown at Bramham
British Horse Feeds are delighted to announce a new Top Number of Entrants award at the Bramham International Horse Trials (9th-12th June).
The Yorkshire based company will present the British Horse Feeds Best Score award at the first horse viewing, which will be held alongside the Hiho Silver sponsored Best Dressed Rider.

Gold medal winning Olympic show jumper Steve Guerdat joins Horseware Ireland’s team of globally sponsored riders.
The equestrian brand partnered with Steve to launch a new global campaign entitled: “Steve Guerdat – ‘A True Horseman, Through It All’.”

New listings for Sameh el Dahan
British show jumper Sameh el Dahan has secured sponsorship from Dominick Rugs and its UK distributor The Center Line.
Sameh, who lives in Northern Ireland and rode for Egypt before switching to compete under the British flag, rides as part of the WKD show jumping team with owner and business partner Joanne Sloan Allen.
“My horses will be protected from changeable weather and will also feel very comfortable in their stable and travel rugs. Many thanks to the team at The Center Line for helping to fit the blankets and for all their advice. I stand behind this brand and recommend it to everyone,” said Sameh.
Sameh has also signed a deal with Hi Form Equine UK, UK distributors of the supplement brand Hi Form.
For several months he has been experimenting with supplementing his horses with Oxydane, which is thought to promote and maintain a healthy immune system, and the joint supplement Proflamaid Plus.

Sundown sponsors British riders
British eventer Will Rawlin has signed a sponsorship deal with horse bedding company Sundown Products.
His first public role as a brand ambassador for the British company will be officiating a course for winners of a Sundown Run competition at the Fairfax & Favor Rockingham International Horse Trials on May 21st.
Will has been using Sundown straw bedding products for over six years and all 16 horses in his current range are bedding on a combination of Sundown Green (chopped wheat straw) and Sundown Yellow (chopped rapeseed straw).
“All my horses love their Sundown bedding and it’s reassuring to see them lie down and rest. We have a good routine on the farm where the horses’ beds are topped up twice a week with fresh Sundown bedding. It rots very quickly in the dung heap, and even the messier horses do really well,” Will said.
