Although I recently received dragon balls strongest form yet, there are still a few opponents Goku can’t quite beat at the moment. While he will likely surpass them at some point Dragon Ball greathe just can’t defeat them at his current level.
On the other hand, even with his increasing strength and ultra instinct, Goku will probably never defeat certain ones dragon ball Characters. Dragon Ball great Additions like Zeno certainly fall into this category, as their power is simply too great for a mere mortal to overcome.

Here are five dragon ball Characters Ultra Instinct Goku is still losing, but maybe not in the future, and five others he can never defeat.
Broly and 4 others dragon ball Characters Goku has yet to surpass
1) natural gas
Currently the strongest fighter in Universe 7 due to the Dragon Ball wish Elec made, Goku just can’t defeat the Heeter on his own right now. Their most recent matchup proved this, as did Goku’s decision to lure the Heeter away from the planet Cereal instead of confronting him directly.
But especially in the light of the latest edition of the great Manga, it is likely that Goku will be able to surpass gas soon. While Vegeta is the star of the show at the moment, that’s likely to change and allow Goku to step into the spotlight given how previous storylines have gone.
2) muesli
Goku is not yet strong enough to defeat Granolah on his own. The current Dragon Ball great arc saw the two compete against each other. The earthbound Saiyan simply couldn’t find a win condition in battle even with Ultra Instinct.
However, as mentioned above, Goku will likely defeat Gas at the end of the stream great manga arc. Since the latter’s desire to be the strongest in the universe was after Granolah’s wish, Goku’s victory over him would cement his stronger being as the Cerealian bounty hunter.
3) Broly
While Goku and Vegeta were able to defeat Broly by merging with Gogeta Dragon Ball Supers First movie, it certainly doesn’t count as Goku defeating him alone. The Saiyan is unlikely to defeat Broly right now, especially given Broly’s apparent training with Whis and Beerus in the upcoming film in the franchise.
However, it is likely that one day Goku will be able to best Broly in combat alone, without the help of Vegeta or any special tactics or tricks.
4) Bierus
Given that this is consistently one of Goku’s main goals as a fighter Dragon Ball great, it’s likely he’ll be able to defeat Beerus in a one-on-one fight at some point. That time is certainly not now, however, as everyone’s favorite Saiyan is still miles away from taking on the God of Destruction.
Although Ultra Instinct is powerful, Goku’s lack of autonomous Ultra Instinct will be a major limiting factor when it comes to defeating Beerus. Until this condition is met, his victory is unlikely. He also needs to get stronger.
5) Jiren
Goku still hasn’t technically defeated Jiren in a one-on-one match. As he got closer Dragon Ball Supers Tournament of Power Arc, he still had to rely on teammates Frieza and Android 17 to get the job done.
Considering he’s mastered Ultra Instinct since then, it’s likely the outcome will be different now. However, the two actually have to fight to ensure that this is anything but speculation. For now, we still have to assume that Goku will lose to Jiren in a one-on-one battle.
Zalama, 4 others dragon ball Characters Goku will never defeat
1) Zeno
Start of the list of dragon ball Characters that Goku can never defeat is, understandably, the multiversal omni-king Zeno. While his exact combat abilities have never been seen in the series, it’s simply impossible for Goku to reasonably overcome his powers of Erasure on a universal level.
Barring a major evolution that will result in the earthbound Saiyan somehow rising to the level of a god above all other gods, he will likely never surpass Zeno.
2) Grand Priest
The Grand Priest is Zeno’s guardian and trainer, so it is likely that they are at a similar level of power as the angels and their gods of destruction. Angels are usually stronger than the gods they are consistently associated with Dragon Ball greatso the same goes for the above pair.
While the Grand Priest probably doesn’t have the same extinguishing powers, his fighting skills make up for it, making him a pretty big threat to Goku. As a result, Earth’s protector is unlikely to ever match or surpass that level.
3) Zalama
As the creator of the wish-granting Super Dragon Balls, Zalama was likely an all-powerful Namek with unimaginable power. Given Zeno’s youthful demeanor, looks, and voice, it is possible that Zalama was the previous Omni King.
Regardless of his position or role, the wish-granting devices of the same name are said to have power proportional to that of their creator. Therefore, it’s likely that Zalama was powerful enough to do almost anything and overpower anyone he wanted.
4) Zeno’s guards
As his protectors, Zeno’s guards are likely strong enough to easily overpower almost everyone in the series, surpassed only by Zeno himself and the Grand Priest. With that in mind, it’s doubtful that Goku will ever rise to their level dragon balland even less likely that he will surpass it.
While not impossible, it would essentially require the franchise’s protagonist to ascend to a divine role, standing on the pinnacle of ultimate power.
5) Whis
After all, it’s likely that as Goku’s current martial arts teacher, Whis will always be superior to his student. Whis is considered one of the more powerful angels in the entire series, further cementing the idea that Goku will likely never eclipse him.
At the very least, Goku would need Autonomous Ultra Instinct to surpass his teacher, meaning such an event likely won’t happen for quite a while, if ever.
