NCAA Baseball Tournament 2022
The NCAA published the baseball tournament class on May 30th. She listed the 16 venues and ranked the best teams in the country. Tennessee (53-7) is No. 1 overall after beating Florida in the finals of the SEC tournament.
Teams compete against each other to advance to the Super Regionals. The top seeds in each group take on the No. 4 and the middle two teams play each other to start the regional double-elimination match. A team must achieve a total of three wins in a region.
In the Super-Regionals, the No. 1 seed Knoxville Regional winner competes against the No. 16 seed Statesboro Regional winner, the No. 2 regional winner versus the No. 15 regional winner, and so on, in best-of -Three series for a spot in the Men’s College World Series.
