Each campground offers cable TV, a picnic table and a fire pit.

Hikers who have arrived by van or RV will love unpacking their tents and pitching at Delaware Water Gap’s Kampgrounds of American (KOA) site.
The site offers RV parking (large rig space available) and cabin rentals. All RV hookups are connected to water, electricity and sewerage with 30 and 50 amp generators available.
What to do: The Delaware Water Gap Recreation Area is less than five minutes’ drive away.

Camp right on Lake Wallenpaupack in this water lover’s recreation area.
Accommodations include RV sites and tent sites. For the best views, arrive early and park near one of the walkable lakefront spots.
Activities include boat, kayak, canoe, jet ski or water ski rentals (the marina is right next door) or fishing trips.
There are also many nature trails and a children’s playground.
Amenities include toilets, showers, laundries and a market for last minute supplies.

Peaceful family campsite in Woodlands, Blakeslee

Opened in 1977, this 50-acre family-owned campground is located at the base of the Dixon Miller Recreation Area, one of the highest known points overlooking the Pocono Plateau.

The location gets busy during Nascar weekend and other race days as it is down the street from Pocono Raceway in Long Pond.
Hike (or ride an ATV) in the Dixon Miller Recreation Area, play a round of miniature golf or take a dip in the heated outdoor pool.

There is also a children’s playground, a small warehouse market, a leisure hall for parties and music festivals for guests.

Enjoy the lake views and explore the grounds of this 140-acre campground.
Accommodations include tent sites, RV sites (all RV sites offer 20-50 amp generators), cozy cabins and rental campers.
There is also a small market and laundromat on site.
Family-friendly activities include fishing (the lake is an estimated 12 acres and known for being stocked with bass, bass, and walleye) and swimming in Kaleb’s pond. There are also several nature trails for hiking.
While you’re there, don’t forget to say hello to their friendly goats.
The campground hosts parties such as an annual children’s fishing derby, a labor day picnic and a Halloween party.

Pocono Raceway, Long Pond

Do you feel the need for speed? The quickest way for NASCAR fans to enjoy the July 22-24 race weekend is to camp RV-style at the Tricky Triangle.
All campers have access to on-site entertainment including live music on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights and fireworks on Saturday nights (based on specific event schedules), a “Bark” dog park, activity center and playground in the Pocono Mountains, an in-field fan center, outdoor bars and food trucks, and free access to the Grandstand on Fridays.
